Structure

Rath Silveraxe is the Guildmaster
  • At any given time, 50 different Adventuring groups may be active and spread throughout the realms.
  • 10 members from neighboring guilds are organized to follow a few days behind the Adventuring groups to ensure that nothing of value was missed.

Public Agenda

Most of the public is not aware of the exact nature of the guild itself. Local merchants are just happy to have a growing city where they can sell there merchandise.

History

The guild started in the back of a small Inn in Easthaven 15 years ago. 10 years ago, Rath took over and since then the guild has expanded to a warehouse the size of a four block section of town.

Demography and Population

Guild Rank Structure

Guild Master-

Each guild's highest-ranking executive officer, and the highest-ranking member of the guild. Responsible for determining the overall direction of the guild and for making strategic initiatives and partnerships with the other guilds.

Warlord-

A leadership position, charged with the general direction of a particular focus or drive (a wide category of projects and initiatives) of the guild. A guild will usually only have a handful.

Elite-

A senior management position involving oversight over and several Warriors. Each Elite is in charge of a hall. In practice, this means an Elite is in charge of a guild's hold, which generally have the larger halls, while Warriors would be in charge of the smaller halls of the guild's many chapter halls.

Warrior-

A management position involving oversight over and responsibility for several Journeymen and the Apprentices beneath them.

Journeyman-

A management position involving oversight over and responsibility for several Apprentices.

Apprentice-

One who has attained apprenticeship. One who, after further training as an initiate, has been apprenticed to a fellow for further training.

Initiate-

One who has attained Initiateship. One who has been initiated into the guild and accepted by the guild for continued education. This is the next title after Novice.

Novice-

One who has pledged to study the guild's teachings and obey its laws. Novices participate in near-daily training. All guild members have to have passed through this at one point. Training usually occurs at one of the guild's holds.

Territories

If it can be traveled, it is within Rath's territory.

Military

Each Guild Hall has it's own guards for defense and if needed, all will form and army to protect the city.

Foreign Relations

All Guilds within Easthaven report directly to Rath at the Adventurers Guild and none do business outside the city without his knowledge and approval.

Guild Member Tags

Each guild has its own style of "tag" but each uses the same material for the same rank. Upon acceptance into a guild, each person is given a "dog tag sized" plate of the guild with their name and date given stamped or carved on the back. The material serves as a testament of their official rank. As the guild members themselves are the face of the guild, the rank assigned to them during the interview is made based on a variety of factors, such as their trustworthiness and ability to complete quests.

Identification of rank:

Guild Master

3"x3" gold plaque hanging from a gold chain. Inlaid with materials from each previous ranks, porcelain, obsidian, bronze, sapphire, ruby and diamond. Each year as Guild Master, a sapphire is added; a ruby is added for every five years and a diamond for every ten.
