Humfolk

Humfolk are the hybrid offspring of Humans and Beastfolk, blending features of both with remarkable variety. Their bodies are largely humanoid but display distinct beastly traits inherited from their non-human parent. Ears, eyes, tails, and limbs often resemble those of their Beastfolk lineage, giving Humfolk an appearance that bridges the gap between wild instinct and civilized society.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humfolk are bipedal and generally humanoid in structure. Fur covers their arms from the elbows down and their legs from the knees to the feet. A tail extends from their lower back, reflecting the species of their Beastfolk parent—such as a single tail for Fox Folk ancestry. Their hands and feet may end in blunt or sharp nails, and their ears protrude from the top of the head. They have human-like torsos and facial features, but often with pointed teeth or colored eyes resembling their Beastfolk heritage.

Natural Magic 45% of them will have their element heritage from their best folk while the rest of them are like they're human parent random to what their body will resist will be Week to and use

Genetics and Reproduction

A Humfolk is conceived when a Human and Beastfolk mate. After an 8-month gestation, the child is born. When Humfolk reproduce:
  • With another Humfolk: offspring is 80% Humfolk, but has a 20% has a chance of being full breed of one of the two species
  • With a Human or Beast Folk: 35% chance of being Humfolk; 65% chance of being the non-hybrid specie

Growth Rate & Stages

  • Humfolk are considered infants between the ages of zero to Five, during which time they were completely dependent on their parents for food and care. They gradually pick up mobility and world awareness.
  • The next stage is kids who learn, play, and grow between the ages of Six to 13. Although kids are not as dependent on their parents at this point, they are still present to meet the majority of their needs. However, young kids are inquisitive and beginning to understand others and themselves. People have a saying that a young child always hears and retains.
  • Between the ages of 13 to 25, their bodies begin to evolve and develop into adults, which is referred to as the teenage years. Their physical body begins to gain figure, height, weight, and muscles. In most situations, this is also where natural magic develops. In most circumstances, they will also begin to establish their identity and become less reliant on their parents.
  • From the ages of 26 to 180, they are in their adulthood, their bodies have matured, and they have a good sense of what their natural magic will do. It will continue to develop as they age, but in most cases, it has a set of talents.
  • From 181 to roughly 260+ years of age, they are elders; their bodies have gradually begun to slow down and become weaker, as have their magical talents if they are not kept up with. Other people regard them as wise because they have lived a lengthy life for a Humfolk. This is the Humfolk life cycle.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Humfolk are omnivorous, requiring a balanced diet of meat, fruit, and vegetables. They eat similarly to humans but may have cravings or tolerance influenced by their Beastfolk parent.
