Dwarves

Dwarves are seen as the ideal underground artisans, or as races that are always prepared to fight, such as orcs and wolf folk. Though they are mastercraft and a hell of a fighter, it is because they reside underground, where there are many more perpetrators and opportunities for survival. That is not the only thing that works in our favor; they are a wonderful species that has evolved from underground roots to living on the surface as well. They have evolved a variety of societies based on where they are in the world. So don't assume all the Dwarves are the same.

Basic Information

Anatomy

As a bipedal species, Dwarves have ten toes, two legs, and two feet. They also have ten fingers and two arms. They are a short and stocky medium-sized species with a round skull and two round ears on the side of their head. They have two eyes with circular pupils and irises, a nose, and a mouth for a face. Males have a lot of extremely thin hair on their bodies, while females have little or a lot of extremely thin hair on their bodies. On top of their heads, they actually have decent-quality hair and can have hair on their faces. Yes unlike most other species both females and males can have face hair.

  • Stonecunning: Dwarves gain a +2 bonus on Perception checks to notice unusual stonework, such as traps and hidden doors located in stone walls or floors. They receive a check to notice such features whenever they pass within 10 feet of them, whether or not they are actively looking.
  • Darkvision: Dwarves can see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet.
  • Slow and Steady: have a base speed of 20FT but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.
  • Gift of Earth 5 Damage Reisentes form magical Earth and 5 weakness damage from magical fire

Genetics and Reproduction

A male and a female member of that species are what conceive a new human. 10 months after the male fertilizes the female, a human child is born. They stop being able to have kids around their 235 birthday

Growth Rate & Stages

Dwarves are considered infants between the ages of zero and Six, during which time they were completely dependent on their parents for food and care. They gradually pick up mobility and world awareness.

The next stage is kids who learn, play, and grow between the ages of Seven and 15. Although kids are not as dependent on their parents at this point, they are still present to meet the majority of their needs. However, young kids are inquisitive and beginning to understand others and themselves. People have a saying that a young child always hears and retains. My favorite saying from my friends at the bar is “Kids are just little people who become truth drunks”.This is still just a metaphor like all children are truth drunks. In most dwarven the society they don't get their first taste of alcohol until around their teenager years.

Between the ages of 16 and 32, their bodies begin to evolve and develop into adults, which is referred to as the teenage years. Their physical body begins to gain figure, height, weight, and muscles. In most situations, this is also where natural magic develops. In most circumstances, they will also begin to establish their identity and become less reliant on their parents.

From the ages of 32 to 249, they are in their adulthood, their bodies have matured, and they have a good sense of what their natural magic will do. It will continue to develop as they age, but in most cases, it has a set of talents.

From 250 to roughly 300 years of age, they are elders; their bodies have gradually begun to slow down and become weaker, as have their magical talents if they are not kept up with. Well, even old Dwarves still work so their physical body does weaken that much. Other people regard them as wise because they have lived a lengthy life for a Dwarves. This is the Dwarves' life cycle.

Ecology and Habitats

Dwarfs like to live underground especially in mountain ranges. They have no problems living on the surface of the world. They just seem to have a natural draw to being underground

They are your basic omnivores they have an I tolerance for poison when they eat it. Because they survive on their ground, they tend to eat more meat and fungus than anything else. It is also why they have perfected alcohol making

Average Intelligence

When it comes to knowledge of crafting and mining they are very intelligent. They could make some of the most cunny and unique items. They to stay within the style of their homeland. So even if they could advance some of their tech or understanding. They held back by tradition and custom

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Dwarves have various sensory systems, and we will identify the five most important ones. First and foremost, they can see up to 2 miles of amazing detail. Their Eyes have a lot of extra cones in them to take in more light. As Well as they also have Tapetum lucidum(a sort of mirror in the eye that reflects light back to the retina). This enables them to see well in the dark conditions. Following that is hearing from 20Hz to 23kHz. With that Dwarves species are in the average range. Dwarves can use their scents of smell very well. It can pick up a million different smells, but it's not as beneficial as other sentient species. Limited in their processing and range. They possessed the sense of touch to help them identify their bodies and things in the world, both good and harmful. This sense tells them what has wounded them or helps them feel at ease. Finally, Dwarves able to taste the five basic categories of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.

Naming Traditions

At first, you call little children names by parents for the first 25 years of life.  You get your name during your naming ceremony, you are given your adult name, the name you will be known for your adult life. Usually, this ceremony is done with you, your parents, the head or rep of all the clan, and the rep of the ruling body. know they will discuss and perry depending on the kingdom and clan. Until they find you a naame and what clan you be living in know. Surnames are usually specific to your clan, This helps another know which clan you belong to.

Merchant Caste - to sell and barter goods between clans
Governing Council comprised of 4 members from all castes
Know all Kingdom have something like this in their kingdom. It might not be the same but you see similarity.

Both will look for more Well built physiques and will look over lads or lasses that are thin. Personality is deppent on the Drwaft.

Relationship Ideals

They have both Arranged marriage and Couples getting together. Arranged marriages are set either by clan leaders or the parents with clan lead blessing. It could be for a number of reasons. Ranging from helping other clans out to punishing the parents. Their no telling what they have in mind. Know the one who gets married for love. they could be dating or just could be friends there is no wrong way for dwarves to get to getter.

Know when they want to be married. Then they got asked clan heads if each in a different one or the same one just one. If they get the blessing great they know to be married. Know if they don't they have two options. one breaks up and accepts the ruling. The other is to be clanless with is hard to live in dwarven society.
