Visagebreak

A small vial of blood red liquid, Visagebreak or Dragon's Blood is a newly developed treatment to the unfortunate souls exposed to extreme cold conditions, particularly the shadow dancers who are exposed to The Reflection.

Utility

Visagebreak is administered orally to the patient. The freezing effects of the dead chill air of The Reflection is almost immediately countered, warming the patient's body back up and thawing the frozen tissue. Timing is critical to save the lives of those that breathe in the chilled air. It is imperative that the dosage is monitored, more than a few drops can be fatal and cause overheating or shock as the body warms up too rapidly.    Unfortunately, this is not without it's ability to be misused. The warming effects of Visagebreak are capable of causing extreme overheating and can be used to induce unbreakable fevers, overheating, temperature shock, organ failure, and death.

Manufacturing

The process of manufacturing Visagebreak is strenuous and time consuming. One batch produces a firkin of Visagebreak potion, which is then distributed into approximately 8,100 dram vials to be distributed among the Dancers. A single batch takes approximately six months to produce, utilizing various hard to obtain ingredients including Pela's Corsage, a flower that grows exclusively on volcanos or in extreme heat conditions.
