Personal history

Tylvath began his life as the son of a Human man and Elven maiden. His mother abandoned him and his father at an early age, old enough to remember her. He became his father's squire and traveled with him in a military life style, learning his basics from the tutors assigned to his unit and the military knowledge from his father. Education in magic made its way into the curriculum once he showed an aptitude for it.   At 13 Tylvath lost his entire battalion to the Demon King's armies. He returned to his home village for some time, then took a life of wandering as a mercenary where he met Delilah, a Faylus woman with the alter ego Seza of the Thieves Guild. Eventually, his wanderings led him to meet the twins Aldvyn and Eldrid Ableford, the prince and princess of Gyrmania. He was hired, alongside Seza and Felicity Rossi, to put an end to the civil war plaguing Gyrmania.   Later, Tylvath remained at the twin's side to launch a massive counter assault against the 'Demon King', playing a key part in the vampire's downfall. With the wars won, he was awarded a position within the Gyrmanian court as King Eldrid's personal body guard and military advisor.

Education

Tyl received the basic education of the common folk of Gyrmania during the time period (reading/writing/basic math) as well as military training from his father during his time as a squire.

Employment

Tylvath moved from squire to mercenary to royal guard.

Failures & Embarrassments

Tylvath left his home village a refugee. The queen's conscripts had attempted to force him back into the military, unaware of his past service. The trauma he had suffered led him to panic and kill both of the soldiers sent to recruit from the village. After which he fled.

Mental Trauma

Tylvath was a part of a contingent that was wiped out during one of the initial raids against the 'Beast King'. He survived the battle, but was mentally and emotionally scarred by the horror left behind and finding his father's corpse.
