Abandoned as a small child, Adrian was adopted by an industrious clan of Dwarves connected to the Tiger's Eye Trading Company. He grew up under their care for six years before meeting the royal family of Gyrmania and Karia Delmonte. Karia took on an older sister role to him over time, eventually taking him under her wing, providing a more stable family than the dwarven clan. Adrian has his hand in many of the R&D projects funded by the Tiger's Eye, the most notable of which being the creation and use of guns. Adrian signed on to the expedition to the new world as a means to protect Karia and have a live test run of his invention.

Adrian's early life consisted of being cared for by his older sister, Merida, and living on the streets. Eventually, she too abandoned him. Thankfully, he was picked up by the Stonemender dwarven clan. He was taken in as one of the Lostlings; orphans of another race brought into the clan as family.
