Guildhall
The Little Warriors Adventurers Guild was founded in antiquity out of the wreckage of Nathrael's betrayal of the gods. The guild built their fortress to protect the World Tree, through which they traded peacefully with other worlds in the multiverse and brought their wonders back to Elanora.
While the Guild prospered and the multiverse enjoyed long eons of peace under its care, the people of Elanora did not fare as well. Some blamed the guild for this, as the worlds' most powerful and skilled usually became Guild members, but turned their efforts outwards to other worlds and rarely invested time back into Elanora itself. But other historians point to signs of skilled agents working in the shadows, and surmise that Elanora's struggles had as much to do with the incompetence and short-sightedness of its own local leaders. Whatever the reason, when Nathrael finally struck the Guild hall in the events known as Guildfall, the Little Warriors did not receive aid from their neighbours, and as they emerged from the wreckage of their hall they found a world nearly ruined and under siege by a strange malady called Blight, spread by the Rotwood Conclave. And so began the War of the Seeds.
That war would end in the death of the Conclave's leader and Lady Wintergreen's sister, Noxala. It left many cities in ruins, while also leaving space for new nations to rise in its wake. The guild hall was also transformed. While the World Tree remained in the old dwarven fortress, much of the guild's business takes place outside or on the shores of the Tanquary River, the gates are left wide open and visitors from the rest of Elanora are encouraged, even sought after and courted. The 'town' of Galleytown is now a city rivaling Tanquary Bay, and guild ambassadors are permitted, if not warmly welcomed, in most civilised nations across the world.
It has been fifteen years since the events of Guildfall and the end of the War of the Seeds. In those fifteen years, the land has prospered. But the world of Elanora is vast...
...and the multiverse, even more so.
