Moon Moor
Located in the Wayberry Woods, Moon Moor is located at the bottom of a deep valley, and mostly hidden by the forest and the vegetation surrounding it. The formation of mist is common around the forest surrounding it, often cloaking the town from view. It is connected to the main roads by a dirt road. It is recommended by any travelers seeking to head into Moon Moor, however, to ask for permission to the current ruler of the town, Baron Ursu, as the area around it tends to be treacherous and holds many savage beasts. If Baron Ursu accepts the proposal, he offers a carriage to be sent to the one who requests entry to the town, in order to prevent more loss of life.
The town is surrounded by a stone wall, with a height of approximately 13 feet (4 meters). The town itself is divided into three sections. The first one is composed of approximately 28 dwellings of the local populace, distributed in two separate rows. The two rows are, in turn, divided by the main street. The second section, and standing in the middle of the town, is the main square, where several stores can be found, alongside a few stalls positioned around a fountain, which depicts a little human girl freeing a dove in the middle.
The third and final section of Moon Moor is composed by Mansion Ursu, a large complex with three floors, separated by the rest of the town by a gated fence, with an inner garden maintained by Larysa, Baron Ursu’s wife. The inside of the manor is off-limits to everyone but personal guests of Baron Ursu, who seldom goes outside.
The area tends to be cloudy, with constant rain and cold winds permeating the general surroundings of the town, unlike the general tropical temperatures of the rest of Achitar. Some concerns have been raised by a few people about strange, unnatural creatures roaming the valley, yet Baron Ursu has remained steadfast on his denial of such observations.
Baron Ursu has expressed interest in the past to acquire the services of wizards and sorcerers with extraordinary talents, which go beyond the harnessing of the elements. If anyone believes they could provide a valuable addition to the town with their life and death abilities, the Baron encourages them to write a letter explaining the why.

Government
Moon Moor is personally overseen by Baron Nicolae Ursu, the son of the former Baron who passed away a mere decade prior, leaving him as the sole heir of the land. He rules fairly, but with a strong hand, and is aided by his wife, Larysa, and a representative of the populace.
Industry & Trade
The industry consists of the extraction of silver and other precious metals from a mine, named the “Apusul Intunecat” mine. They likewise complement it with lumberjacking and raising cattle, principally goats, cows and pigs, with a few satellite farms to provide for the cattle raising industry.
