Market District

The district holds a large and sprawling market, with many stores and stalls found all around being the biggest, most lively as well as chaotic place in the city. All produce cultivated within the many farms of the settlement may be bought here, amongst others goods manufactured within the Atelier District, holding many stores that seek to cater to any and all inhabitants' material needs and wants. Inside the Market District, there are also a great deal of attractions from itinerant artists who try to cheer up both shopkeepers and clients alike. These range from puppet shows to theatre plays held upon makeshift stages that are free to watch, asking for a small fee to any watchers only.
Whispers and rumors teem about an underground black market that offers illegal or heavily regulated items found within the district, seeking to cater to unsavory characters. Of course, the government denies any existence of it, but there may be more truth to it than they want to admit.
