The Grinning Monk
The Grinning Monk is a famous Inn on the outskirts of Selversheyn, the oldest one in the region, even older as many of the larger temples in the city. In fact, many people confuse the tall building with a temple, with its large doors, colorful windows and three small bell towers around the building.
The inn has been in family posessions for multiple generations. The three dining rooms are heavily decorated with many old artifacts, found and cared for by former members of the owner's family. Some of these artifacts are contested and desired by the local clergy, as they are possibly former possesions of the gods Vitukua, Maned and Lirini.
In fact, the Inn was home of the Barrel of the Faithful for a long time and it was the owner who figured out the magical properties of the artifact. Before the monks of the Selverrock Monastery seized it, the owners stocpiled many barrels of transmuted Greamski - as a remedy for the at times stomach-challengening cooking of his foreign cook.
Wait the monks stole the awesome magical booze barrel? Boooooooo!!! Let's get drunk and get it back! o,o (Narrator: This was a horrible idea.)
