Farkenhound

The Farkenhound, often simply called Farken, are bulldog like creatures found mostly in Copperwynn and as a favorite household pet among the Gazeranfolk people.
They are four legged creatures, with short fur ranging from light brown to darker grey and sometimes black color. They usually have uniformely colored fur all over their body. Farken are omnivores but prefer a meat based diet.
In the wild, Farken usually live in small packs by four to six, with a lose structure surrounding an alpha creature. The alpha can be both male and female and is usually determined by strength and ability to protect the pack.
Farken are typically bred by the Gazeranfolk to be companion, protector and helper in regards to hunting. They are loyal companions and despite a rough look very docile. Nevertheless Farkenhound are very capable of defending themselvs and their companions.

Special abillities

As one of the only creatures in Copperwynn, they are able to whitstand the effects of the Copperwynn Magic Drain. Unclear of the reason, Farkenhound have no trouble of producing, absorbing and keeping Myridis in their bodies. Farkenhound are always growing up to be large and strong and despite their drained surroundings they are always alert and very often happy.
Farkenhounds are able to form a bond with a Gazeran shaman or spellcaster, with several benifical effects for both of them. They are then capable of supplying their partners with Myridis, the magical energy that is a rare resource in Copperwynn.
