Rising from an empty land, the world of Ekkalis is one ruled by the gods: the Okkenan or the Immortals. Mortals wander empty plains, their gods pulling the strings. Akkarm, the magic of life, is spun into the world's nature, castable only through death. Bloodstones, taken from the death of mortals, and Oathstones , taken from the Immortal's impossible death, allow the use of the Arcanics, a web of magical power.
