Sviatoslav the Diviner
A tiefling male and one of the greatest archmages of Old Myltev. Using his powerful divination magic, he chronicled the empire's past, present, and future as it rose to conquer much of Ekal in the 2nd Cycle. Chronicling Old Myltev's history through numerous books and magic items, his prodigious output ensured that more of his writings survived the Ostry Apocalypse than any other Myltevian archmage.
In the spring of 928 a group of explorers employed by Chusei University discovered his laboratory/lair buried beneath Gokkano Falls in the Northern Territories, presumed to be the site where he performed many of his observations. The party discovered his final resting place, confirming theories that Sviatoslav was one of the few archmages of Old Myltev who chose not to extend his life through arcane means. The lair flooded in a wave of magic energy during a violent standoff with the Handgun thieves guild, but the Chusei explorers managed to escape with several artifacts in tow. A thri-kreen named Kite von Prawnpeia now wears the Diviner's enchanted death mask.
