Helix
An ancient chuul and devotee of the Sunken God. Amara Fireheart and Wilbur Whately met him inside the tomb of an aboleth on the outskirts of Grendel in 896, sharing gifts and talking about the good old days of apocalypse and chaos. Helix was born at the end of the wars and didn’t get to see much of the outside world, so the party agreed to let him come out into the surface world and eat some elves. He traveled to Hedgpeth and started eating elven guards there, almost derailing the goblin resistance plans there. Amara and Wilbur set him straight in the Hedgpeth sewers, and he later helped the party flood the city in preparation for the major Character battle there. Over a year later he was killed by the Royal Knights Brigade at the Battle of Kassadeia in 897.
