Eiria

Created by

Welcome dear traveler, sit round the fire while I tell you the tale of Eiria. When the Unknown Being created the world he created the beings and scattered them apart to watch them grow and play. The world was bright and new, shiny and clean. He played with his new toy like a child on Festival of the Phoenix. But we all know how that story always ends.   Soon the Unknown Being grew tired and bored, the shininess of his new toy faded. So he made the Eidolons, allowing them to interject chaos and life into the world. It wasn’t long after that, wars began to form. As all people tend to think what is theirs, is theirs and what is someone else’s, is theirs as well. Empires rose and fell, beings sealed from the world of Eiria for forever or so they think.   Listen, dear traveler; tread lightly for one never knows what shall happen in a world filled with monsters and beasts. But even then there are still lights shining in the darkness.

Author Note: Anything with an * behind the name is a WIP. Anything with in { } is a place holder and more so a reminder to me what needs to be there.
In the beginning, the Unknown Being created what one could affectionately call his children, the Eidolons. When they seemed to bore him he scattered the first beings to the four winds of Eiria, wanting to introduce more pieces to the game board in hopes of keeping his attention. And as children go, they would become rambunctious and uncivil, playing god in their father's world. Creating new races and beasts from bets or anger even sometimes love or curiosity.   While most of the races were content to squabble with their closest neighbors, there was one race who wanted the world and everything that entailed this action. The Anucia Empire would march and seem to sweep across the world, devouring everything in their path like a starving rabid wolf. The only thing that stopped their devouring of the world was the southern border which brushed against the eternal storm of the Srijihl Expanse. The frozen storm the only thing that could stop the Anucia Empire, keeping the unknown Falkovians safe from the hungry jaws.   After centuries of forced peace, a revolt began to form as the oppression was enough to drive the peaceful Ezana into a fighting frenzy. While the revolt began something in the darkness, earth and rocks stirred, a deep dark secret would begin to rise from the clutches of True stadus. The Drassi were coming.   The major turning point of the revolt was when the dark army was released and allowed to stretch into the sunlight because while the Fjorn had started something they were not strong enough to face the army of the Anucia Empire. The general populace is unsure as to who attacked first, the Fjorn tell tales of them attack first, while others say it was the Anucia Empire. Though the other tales the Fjorn tell are of the Empress of the Drassi said to strike fear in the heart of Muldir on the battlefield. The battle was long and bloody and ended with the Emperor of the Anucia Empire falling at the hands of The Lady Misery.   After the fall, the tentative peace was short-lived as the Drassi began pushing through and claiming land as their own, leading to more skirmishes before a summit was called to divide the disputed land. Seemingly giving the Drassi what they wanted the rest of the world moved on while they picked a new capital and began amassing another great army. Though the conquest plans would not come to fruition as the Right Hand of the Drassi Empress murdered his Empress in her sleep.   Slowly the world of Eiria began to move towards new balance as the Elves moved on from their entangled life with the Humans and began to carve their own path. The Srijihl Expanse storm began to stop till there was nothing left and the Falkovians would be allowed to rejoin the world of Eiria again, though the Expanse would never lose the permafrost.   Now the world of Eiria is left to grow or plummet into darkness.
