Khasaazeh

The Khasaazeh are a four-armed, humanoid, terrestrial species of low to high intelligence. They are omnivores, having a wide diet consisting of but not limited to meat, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, and grain. Their average lifespan is between 50-80 years, and they generally range in height from about 5-7 feet. The Khasaazeh live wide-spread across Bor, and also exist in shared territory with the Brìgdoell and the Créndual in Anvár and Rídham.

The Khasaazeh are somewhat territorial but generally reserved; they have clearly-defined borders between states that are heavily protected, but many of them place emphasis on utilising peaceful negotiations to end conflicts rather than going to war. Most states that the Khasaazeh rule are governed by executive monarchy, but recently there has been a trend of the power of the throne dissolving as ceremonial monarchies and parliamentary systems are set in place. The vast majority of Khasaazin are agnostic theists of varying degrees, and they practice both mass and individual ritual magic as outlined by their ritual calendar to protect themselves and their land.

Rich resources in Bor have allowed for rapid technological development amongst the Khasaazeh. They have relatively advanced seafaring capability allowing for long journeys; they have established their own waters and trade routes and use them regularly. They have discovered three foreign landmasses on their naval expeditions: Kishmadem (Dalatsa), Zahem (Okai ), and Irkaazh (Elbikrä), though they have not been able to make landing or contact in any of these ventures due to unforgiving geography, territorial natives, and perpetual natural disasters. The Khasaazeh have developed relatively extensive agriculture and animal domestication, and they mine ores and stone for metalworking and masonry. They primarily use metal weapons and tools, and have an oral and written language called Khasimma.

There are a few psychic Khasaazin communities scattered across Bor, Anvár, and Rídham, but the majority of the population show no inclination towards extrasensory abilities. Those select psychic communities, mostly centred around the borders of the Akkof Woodlands (Ya Sangdi) and the Admi Scrub (@tah), experience levels of high strangeness and must be on high alert for activity from the Zidao and the Akebé at all times.
