Thrician Trade Company

The northeastern peninsula of Mitari was a untamed and difficult land until the early part of the 3rd epoch saw the rise of the Thrician Trade company. The Thrician Family was a powerful merchant house during the empire wars at the end of 3rd epoch. Specializing in getting the necessary goods to whichever empire needed them at the time. They were able to maintain neutrality due to their usefulness to various sides. Operating heavily out of the Lost Port of Rhea  and Myros their ships and goods were able to quickly reach most places. When the 2nd Epoch ended and the Port of Rhea was lost the Thrician Family suffered an immense setback. The shrewd dealings and planning of Frewyn Thrician put them in a position where they owned the majority of Myros by that point and the remainder of their fleet was able to continue to supply the Family with income and wealth. The seas continued to become more and more dangerous and Frewyn was able to diversify and acquire more resources inland than his competitors. Eventually, Thrician ships were the only ships capable of managing the last few years of intercontinental travel. Frewyn purchased the remainder of his competitors and owned Myros. With the end of intercontinental shipping, Thrician pivoted even further inland and incorporated with various other merchant houses and marrying his children off to the nobility. Thankfully for the Thrician Family, Frewyn's children had similar desires to their father and passed this on to the next generations and the next. By the time Frewyn passed and handed what was now called the Thrician Trade Company to his daughter, Malia, the company owned the majority of the peninsula. Using the same tactics her father taught her she unified the entire peninsula up to the Desolation by her middle years. The Desolation and the Osman  stopped the advance of the company at the borders. The Osman were not swayed by money and power the same way others were and company was unable to acquire them. Opting to use them and its remaining close shore fleet the company continues to grow and develop having some of the most advanced arcane knowledge and goods you can find anywhere. that is if you can afford it.
