Imperial Army

The Imperial Army is the name of the Auskerian Empire's military, comprised of the Army and Air Corp. The Guardian's may focus is on protecting their country from Daemon and other outside threats. Due to the Empires small population, all citizens are required to serve at least six years in some capacity; and all of their schools teach basic military combat training and weapons usage.   The organization itself relies largely on magitech weaponry, due to its heavy history of magic and the country itself having been founded by mage's.

Structure

The organization is run by the Askin Empress, below her is her chief of staff. The Imperial Army are further divided into Army and Air groups. At the Army level, the commanding officer is always a colonel, while in the Air group it is a Flight Colonel.

Culture

The Imperial Army are rather open, they like to be around the populace and tend to help out even when they are not needed. They are a firm believer that helping the citizenry helps themselves, and provides them with the best recruits possible for fighting an enemy that is unrelenting.   Within the Guardians, no one is allowed to drink alcohol. Respect is earned and not given, leaders are required to fight alongside their own troops, in order to raise morale and install confidence.

Assets

The Imperial Army is comprised of over four hundred and seventy eight thousand standard troops (478,000), it has six fortresses, ten castles. It has six fully manned air corps and nine fully manned vehicular corps. It's equipment is comprised of magitech weaponry, includes magi-lances and swords. It's allies have also provided them with several magitech tanks and artillery.

Technological Level

The Imperial Army maintains one of the most advanced Bulwarks to ever exist, allowing it to create a wall of both magitech energy and Kai around their border to protect them from outside threats. However, opens in this wall are done intentionally to allow Daemons in for the purposes of training and study, these holes are carefully monitored by the military.   Civilian towns are given a weaker version of this bulwarks, but one that is none the less more advanced than those used by other nations. These bulwarks are actually capable of forming a solid bridge of large expanses.

Education

The Imperial Army provides its own education to its troops, children who are discovered to use magic are given a special place within the military and assigned to one of several magical schools, with the army paying their entire tuition so long as they maintain high marks. Soldiers who desire to learn more about their chosen profession are also given the opportunity to attend a military school for that profession, in which the military will also pay the costs.

Infrastructure

The Imperial Army has a vast network of tunnels that it has created beneath the Auskerian Empire that are used to transport munitions and vehicles from one location to another, these tunnels can be easily detonated. The army also possess a number of ports, air strips for airships, and large towers that oversee the border along with fortresses and castles that are used to deploy said forces at a moments notice.

Judicial Body
The Imperial Army contains its own judicial organization that prosecutes any soldier that has broken the laws both within the army and in civilian life. Soldiers are expected to adhere to the law much more stringently than civilians are, and civilians often view soldiers as role models. So a soldier breaking the law faces far worse punishment, than a civilian.
