Nestled in a vale near the Sandbar Mountains, Dorozhka is one of the settlements that act as a gateway between the Peschanoye plateau and the Empire of Vin.

Government

Dorozhka is run by a collective matriarchy. Every woman when they come of age, joins the collective, which acts as a sort of ruling council. Each woman is given a measure of respect based on their age, but the oldest and wisest of them often realize the value of a younger voice. As such, the council can often be a very equal rulership, but like any other human civilization, they are prone to in-fighting, politicking, and all manner of petty sniping for the sake of individual interests.
