Masters of the Seas

The Zuthean people live on a large archipelago. This forced them to adapt to a more naval lifestyle. And way back even before the fall of The Old Gods they where already sailing past their own seas on their primitive boats. Yet they have far out grown their primitive ways and now sail majestic sailing ships which have sailed all over the world of Ecquamas. And now they are famous for their knowledge and ability to tame the oceans.

Zunatii: Zunatii are a sub-culture of the Zutheans. They descend from the Zutheans but instead of staying in their native land they have build massive flotillas who survive by living of the sea and sail from continent to continent. Making their money by selling exotic goods.

The warm climate of the Zutheans is perfect for a rare select few plants which do not grow anywhere else in Ecquamas. These are highly sought after and Zuthean spices and wine are considered a delicacy all over the world. Of course the Zuthean kingdoms haven't let this opportunity slip. Already being used to sailing they used this experience to sail all over Ecquamas to trade their goods. Making many Zuthean kingdoms very wealthy. With so much luxuries and wealth, most Zutheans have to worry less about the daily struggles and are able to enjoy life to the fullest. They are known for their delicious food, luxurious living spaces and their laid-back attitude to life.

Draconian Colonies: It was the Zutheans who rediscovered Draconis. And over the years they have started to establish colonies on these mysterious lands for trading and expansion. It's because of these Zuthean Colonies that Draconis was reconnected to the rest of Ecquamas.

The Zutheans are a odd people, as they unlike other cultures they regularly and openly worship two demons, Scalith and Vaas-Laumi. Scalith stands for survival, incredibly important when it comes ot the dangerous oceans. But Vaas-Laumi stands for community and hunting, handy when it comes to fishing and the community that is formed on a ship. This has lead to many disagreements and violence. But most people seem to tolerate the other side.

Appearance

Most Zutheans spend their time sailing ships which is grueling work, making most Zutheans well build. They have black hair and a warm beige skin color as they are often exposed to the sun. For the ones with scales, fur or feathers they are are usually a beige or light grey color as well, with white accents.

Zutheans names usually consist of their first, family and second name which is the same as their fathers. But they are also very proud of their sailing capabilities and often include the ship they serve on and which position they have in their name, for example: Alvaro Cerda Rincon, quartermaster of the Wave Piercer.
