Vaas-Laumi: The All Mother (Vaas-la-ouw-mee)

"Strong together like one big family"

You thought you had your foe backed into a corner, you swore you would win this day. Unbeknownst to you, eyes watched you from the forest's edge. How wrong you were. Having made the grave mistake of attacking a child of the All Mother. Your stalkers finally reveal themselves, stepping out to defend their family. One foe changes into two, then four, then eight. You can try to run but the forest is their domain, you can try to fight but their fury is unmatched.

Mother of the Forest

Vaas-Laumi, also known as the All Mother is depicted as a tall woman with bark skin, within this bark sit cracks that glow a faint blue, her hair is a amalgamation of twigs that reach for the sky. And her piercing geen eyes stalk the forests she calls home. But the forests aren't just home to her but also her children: Those who have been abandoned by everyone else and have found refuge in her embrace.

Connected to Nature: Nature is a ruthless cycle of death and life. Where it's all about survival. But it's also filled with beauty, beauty that the Demons promptly ignored. They were too busy going after bigger fish, but Vaas-Laumi saw an opportunity. With no competition she quickly seized the nature of Ecquamas as her own.

In the beginning she was one of the weakest Greater Demons, and when the Demons started to fight amongst each other she disappeared, many thought she was dead until she emerged from the mysterious The Deep Woods. She offered refuge to anyone who would follow her, and it wasn't long until she matched the power of her peers.

The Strong Survive: Strength is a very important in the many tribes of Vaas-Laumi. You cannot protect your tribe without being strong! And so the strongest get the respect of their peers. Those who are weak on the other hand get the short end of the stick.

Vaas-Laumi is all about family, she is a beacon of hope for those who cannot find a place to belong for those who have being left behind by the rest to rot. But not the All Mother. She has accepted them as her children. But a problem arose, with so many people all with different ideologies come together there is bound to be some conflict. Conflict that would break the family, so one day she created three offspring: Rash-Ka, Groh-Kan and Laas-Kani. Creating the 3 separate factions that fight in her name.

Tribes of Vaas-Laumi
Most factions fights amongst themselves even though they follow the same Greater Demon. Though these tribes have their disagreements and the occasional scuffle they never actively fight against each other. They are all part of the same family after all.
