Structure

The Order of the Shield is the military order that maintains the balance within The Sanctuary and across all the realms as a whole. The Paragon of the Aegis the head of this order and acts as the absolute general of the Armies of the Undevoted. This army is a standing force that acts both defensively and is the hand of the Council of Balance. The Paragon of the Aegis is the sole weilder of The Aegis of Accord, and maintains their role through training and promotion based on their skill with individual combat, small group tactics, and campaign tactics.
