Thenne is the last settlement in the Upper Ronneval that still falls under Valordan jurisdiction.

Demographics

Thenne has a high if not almost exclusive population of descendants of former Rhodanes tribes who wanted to settle down in the Upper Ronneval close to the still existing and traditionally living tribes.

Government

Thenne is ruled as a free domain not bound to any other territories or lords. The King of Valorden designates a lord who rules over this autonomous territory.

Industry & Trade

The settlement is an important last resting and restocking place for anyone travelling into the The Morcannaid Massif. These would be travellers either going into the mountains to recover precious ressources like ores and minerals, travellers to make contact with the Rhodanes, or hunters. This makes it a small but not unimportant trade hub on the edge of civilization. Merchants frequent the settlement often to pick up new things coming from the mountains. While most mineral and ore trade runs through the dwarven stronghold of Dol Cadarn underneath the mountains, the surface is a much more uncomplicated (and unregulated) place to source minerals, pelts and other interesting mountain wares for anyone niot wanting to draw attention to their shopping list. Even the mages send in regular parties to collect the mined Kyraphane, whose trade is highly regulated between Valorden and the High Kingdom of the Dwarves but illicit mines still exists in the mountains. All this, unfortunately, makes Thenne into a trading site for illegally acquired ressources.
