The Outer Planes

Introduction:

The outer planes of existence are 16 planes that were artificially created by the halborg before they went extinct, just before the First Cataclysm. Each plane is based on a different aspect of morality, placing somewhere on two scales: good and evil, and chaos and law. Very little information exists about these planes, as they have been sealed away by the Old Gods for 1,000,000 years.

Creation:

During the Cataclysmic War the halborg created a device designed to create a new plane, one which they could escape into. The device was overly successful and created not one but 16 planes. The halborg escaped into the plane embodying chaos and evil and attempted to fortify their position. However, the other nations of Rocheron invaded the plane and killed the majority of the halborg. Any survivors fled into the other outer planes, never to be seen again.
