Personal history

Born to an unmarried woman in Krona Peak, whose family had cast her own for having a child out of wedlock. While still quite young they moved to Korth, partly to get away from the judgement of others Dwarves and partly to find a better life.
Fell in with the unsavory underbelly of Korth at a relatively early age. Much of his life is unknown until, to the surprise of many, his "father" declared his true parentage upon his deathbed. Many believe Durrim had some hand in the old man's admission, as he inherited a sizeable portion of his father's wealth.
Ever the clever businessman, Durrim used his many connections to build himself into a position of some power. It is not well known as to how he came to be given the title of Baron, and the wealth and authority that comes with it, but he has proven to be rather good at maintaining the Merchants Guild of Teryk.
