Mace

Mace is a warforged artificer, designed by House Cannith and sold to Cyre. He fought for Cyre during the Last War. In 994 YK, Mace was one of eight Cyran elite troops sent on a find-and-kill mission into the wilderness of Droaam. This squad, commanded by Captain Greykell ir'Ryc, was assigned a special mission: follow a Karrnathi squad into Droaam, determine their reason for going after the ruins of the Kech Nasaar, and leave no Karrnathi alive.   The Cyrans were ambushed by the Karrns at the ruins. However, the Karrns were equally ambushed by the gnoll hordes of Droaam. The gnolls brought the survivors of both squads (Greykell, Mace, and Duregh for the Cyrans, and Lord Suradin and three other Karrnathi) to their rulers, the Daughters of Sora Kell.   The Daughters were playing games with the foreign soldiers, and let them loose in the Dhakaani ruins beneath the Great Crag to find the artifact they were originally looking for. Eventually this lead to Greykell acquiring the Kur Leshaat Nasaar, and in so doing destroying the vampire Suradin, and taking out her own squad.   Mace later awakened with the Daughters of Sora Kell, before Greykell did, and was escorted back to Cyre by a contingent of gnolls. The Mourning had occurred while they were in the Great Crag, and Mace returned to Cyre to find it destroyed. He ended up at New Cyre when Oargev ir'Wynarn gave his speech.   Mace didn't stay in New Cyre, and didn't accompany Greykell to Sharn. In 999 YK, the Mist Walkers encountered Mace in the ruins of Kalazart in the Mournland, leading a force for the Lord of Blades.
