Kingdom Council Military Alliance

The Kingdom Council Military Alliance is a military alliance between the major powers of Eatta. It was created 621 DE in response to the Ravenous Hoards attacks on the major powers and attempts to pit the powers against each other. After several years of fighting and an invasion of what was believed to be the Hoards origin point, the Alliance was victorious.

After the war the Alliance was restructured becoming a council of governments with the mandate to keep the peace provide security and oversee disaster relief efforts. The Alliance has overseen reconstruction efforts of the Elf Impurium and Draconian Union lands. Presently the Alliance is overseeing security of trade routes, exploration of the unexplored regions of SERENE, maintaining a security force presence on the Hoards origin point and research into the Vanir and other lost technologies and magics from the Dragon age.
The KCMA is also responsible for international law enforcement, the prosecution of war crimes from the Hoard War and assisting local law enforcement. This is done through the use of specially sanctioned Investigators.

Current Post war make up has moved away from the military orientation of the alliance and has transfrede a majority of power to civilian hands various guilds and non member states now have a voice on the council now but do not hold as much power as the founding member states.

Structure

A general secretary is appointed by the member states. This general secretary runs the day to day logistics of the Alliance under the supervision of the member states. The secretary does have veto power over the member states.

Under his leadership the Alliance have expanded their diplomatic operations on SEREN as well as military reinforce the under dark boarders of the United Cities of Amalur. Officially the Alliance does not have any territory but it does have multiple forts, coastal ports and fortifications on and near trade routes and some cities of Alliance member states. The Council is hosted in various cities in the alliance this hosting last for 1 year. The Current city hosting the Council is Amular.

The peace keeping naval and ground forces are made up of volunteers and military units seconded from alliance member sates.
