United Cities of Amalur

The United Cities of Amalur also know as Amalur is the gnome country located on the content of SEREN They are a democratic republic, and to date one of the more advanced users of Crystal magic-tech having constructed a light rail system and use crystal based technology for almost everything they do as well as magic.
The City of Amular is the capital located in the center of Amular it is at the base of M.t Hestia an semi dormant volcano. The city is unique as it is the only city looking city on the surface of Amular and it also has a massive underground city that is connected to the upper portion via large platform elevators, cable trams and winding paths.
The city of Storms End is to the north and the closes city to the Storm Wall, its construction predates the storm wall, it was a major site of underground battles during the Hoard War and they were forced to develop very interesting and brutal methods of repelling Gnoll attacks. By treaty and the gnomes own instance they destroyed most of the weapons and vehicles from that war keeping a few less lethal and more utilitarian vehicles and items form that era.  In the time since the wars end and thanks to funding from the Kingdom Council Alliance the gnomes of Storms End created the Storm Line a fully functioning train system that is split into two systems an underground system  connects all the cities of Amular and the Elf Impurium, and the goblin lands by underground tunnel the scond is the above ground system that connects all the cities and some smaller towns on the surface.            The city of WESTYCLIFF is located on the western side of Amular and is the cloest city to the Elf impurium it is built into the cliff side of the Fare Fall Cliffs. It was originally more focused on underwater mining and underground mining with a small interest in fishing. After the Fall of the Port of Fair winds  it revamped its infrastructure and docks to accommodate a large number of ships and troops coming from and going to the elf impurium. Today it has the larges dock in Amular and several elevators on the cliff letting people and cargo get to the surface and Storm Line.         
The city of Southy Shores located at the southern most tip of Amular it is a trade hub sending and doing business with the Sea of Storms island chain, The goblin lands and the dragon born it has the second largest port but the safest.

Any land with in the Storm wall falls under the jurisdiction of the United Cities of Amular as does the Silver Forest the storm wall. and various colonies out side the storm wall.

Military

The Military is made up of land forces and some cost guard forces. The land forces are broken into three shifts city wall and tunnel. City shift is the standing army and law enforcement arm of the military. Wall Shift is the standing army guarding the two tiers of the storm wall the gnomes have acess to and the various check points into the country. Tunnel shift guards the mines and prevents under dark incursions from kohblos and other hostile forces form the under dark.
