Albus Grimm was a controversial member of the Grimm family and was a major member of the Wolf Coast Independent movement that wanted Dunwarick to give the Wolf Coast its independence and break away from the Kingdom Council Military Alliance due to the "overtaxing of trade routes" and "misappropriation of military assets".
9 years before ruining he renounced his membership and the organization for becoming too radical and admired he made a mistake. 
There was also rummoers during the elction that he had dealings with the Pink Rose and establishment of ill repute and the Gamblers Den syndicate these rumors were never confirmed or denyed by ALbuis.
