The Warlord Toth

Toth Kartusk is the eighteenth in the line of the Toth name. He is the warlord of the The Nation of Toth and keeps his position by brute force and cunning. he rules with a kind, yet forceful demeanor and an even hand in matters of civility. When those matters come to other nations however, he is ruthless and violent, making his god Wend proud.

The Line of Toth

Ever since the first warlord claimed their nation through blood and violence, they have sought ways to hold them. The nation of Toth quickly took to the idea of passing it down to an heir. Every first male child born to the warlord of Toth would be named Toth to continue the line. That child would be trained to be the perfect warrior, fighting all comers to the seat and claiming victory. A Toth has never lost this to any challenger yet.

Toth the First

The very first Toth was an impressive orc with a long list of accomplishments. He was a visionary that instituted this line and tried to make his name immortal. He achieved more in the short twenty years he held the seat than any orc so far, yet he died young leaving his line to carry on without his wisdom.

Toth the XVIII is a huge specimen of his kind, being almost the strongest warlord to hold the seat. His physical prowess is beyond compare and has demonstrated feats that have gone down in song and story alike.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Toth the XVIII is a little different than all of his sucessors. He trained as they did but really didn't have the thirst for violence against his own kind that the others had. Not just orcs but the people in his own nation. In his early years he took to fighting well, yet refused to hurt anyone who had submitted to him. As he grew in size he tempered his anger so that he was always calm, even when angry. This resulted in a wave of challengers to the seat at a young age, three before he even officially claimed it. he beat them all soundly and without killing them. In fact to this day he has ever only killed those that have given him no choice, totaling only five.

Morality & Philosophy

Toth the XVIII dislikes killing, saying that orcs should always choose life. He preaches that Wend does not say to kill, but to be victorious, something other orcs have forgotten. If given the chance to spare a life in combat, he always tries.

Toth the VI

What happens when there is no first born male? Well that was solved when Toth the VI was born and Toth the V died that very day in combat. The mother named the child Toth and stood proudly by her decision, protecting the child from attack and assassins alike. She grew into a fierce warrior and claimed the seat despite protes, ruling until her old age and giving the seat a male heir.
