Personal history

Dorian Glockner currently owns and runs Blue Blazes Metal Works and Engineering. He's a Halfling man of stout build, who always wears a neatly trimmed and styled beard. He has a serious and friendly disposition.
The Glockner family invented the modern mechanical clock...or so they claim.
Dorian Glockner continues his family's proud tradition of tinkering. He and his brothers have run a tinker's shop in some distant city for a long time. Dorian in particular is friends with one Briybar Tessig, a skilled Tinkerer who taught him many tricks of the trade. Due to this friendship, Dorian came to meet Casey, Briybar's "niece" and student. As Casey was on her way to Idriell, she stayed and worked at Dorian's shop for a few weeks.
A year or two later, Dorian received word that Casey had to leave Idriell due to extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately, she had a shop and apprentices she was forced to leave behind.
Dorian, himself liking the thought of seeing this mysterious frontier land, traveled to Vareholm to take care of Blue Blazes and teach Casey's apprentices in her stead.
