Holo-Display
A holographic display (holo-display) creates a three-dimensional image of some real or synthesized object or scene. There are two types:
- An in-holo'd display is a flat screen that displays a 3D image apparently beyond it. It looks like a window into a virtual space. Example: The Librarian displayed on a Library Terminal.
- An out-holo'd display is projected outwards so it appears as an object in space which can be viewed from any side. Example: An image of a planet floating above a holo-display table.
