Peraquiem

Geography

The massive continent of Peraquiem is a land mass with four main peninsulas. The average geography of Peraquiem is rolling, relatively flat, grassy pains, along dense forests. Peraquiem is bordered by the Willmont Ocean in the south, and the Bermion ocean to the east and north of it. Advenusia, to the west of Peraquiem, is separated by the large Suiem Inlet. The Ticondra peninsula is defined by high elevations, rugged plateaus, and steeply sloping land. The Central lands, hosting the countries of Corsin and Pradewl, are lower in altitude and less rugged than the Ticondra peninsula and are heavily wooded. This region is sparsely populated except in the Risyve River area and major industrial and financial cities, such as Asario City. The Kunlinka strait, home to the countries of Deule and Sozlenia, connects Peraquiem of Oparva. The strait is home to the Lahn river, which is a major two oceans. It has low, flowery hills, with rich mineral deposits. The peninsula has long, beautiful coastlines. The Lesparian peninsula, containing Lesparia, Ostedia, Eplemptia. It is very cold, rocky, and has tall plateaus. The climate of Northern Peraquiem includes cold, dry winters and mild, standard summers. The southern climate, including the Kunlinka strait and Ticondra peninsula have hot, nearly rainless summers and mild, rainy winters characterize this climate. Olives and grapes are two important crops that have thrived in this climate for more than a thousand years.

Fauna & Flora

The waters surrounding Peraquiem are home to a number of organisms, including fish, seaweeds, marine mammals, and crustaceans. The cold water surrounding The Lesparian peninsula are home to unique species of cold-water corals, as well as large fish that provides huge income.

Natural Resources

Large fish populations in the Bermion ocean provide massive industries. Thick and dense forests provide a huge timber and paper products. Important metals, such as iron, copper, coal, and natural gas are found in the country. Large mining operations extract these resources to ship to factories across the continent. Much of central peraquiem has rich, fertile soil, excellent for farming native plants, such as wheat, grain, oat, corn, apples, oranges, and peaches.
