Two forces unknown to me were engaged in battle, and I only just managed to extricate myself from the fight with my life. As I left I turned back, and in the center of the fray he stood, laughing as both sides failed to even scratch his armor. I still remember their screams."

Travels Amongst the Realms

Born during the Age of Antiquity in the war-torn Westhold, Uther's early days were consumed in a constant state of war. Living in the region now occupied by the Kingdom of Kassiland, in those days the area was divided up amongst several human kingdoms, constantly in conflict with both each other and the Second Vraekar Empire. Uther grew up a warrior, and quickly grew a reputation for unmatched prowess and ferocity in battle.

While little is known about his life, we do know quite a bit about his death. Uther lived a long life, defeating each enemy that crossed him, carving out a relatively large kingdom in the Westhold. But as he reached his elder years, he sought to defeat his final remaining enemy; death. Uther send his emissaries far and wide, scouring both The Ether and the Nether Abyss for Charon, seeking to face him in battle. Unable to locate the Citadel of the Damned, he instead them snuck into Rancor, challenging Belegor himself. Belegor, amused at the arrogance of this human, accepted his challenge. The battle lasted for months, and the devastation destroyed most of the Vastness of Sin, the city housing the King of Hell on it's Seventh Layer. In the end the fight was declared a draw, and Belegor granted Uther his immortality, raising him as the god of war. Since that time Uther has been a constant presence on any battlefield he can find, and fights for whichever side he prefers in any given conflict, irrespective of allegiance to The Light or The Shadow.
