Renmann Character in Earedar | World Anvil

Renmann (Ren-man)

Elemental Lord of Lightning

"Andrew dodged another fireball as he carried Marcus over his shoulder. His brother was heavy and bleeding, but he could not leave him behind. The fire elementals chasing him were rapidly catching up. "Only a bit more!" he bellowed, and then he would reach the walls of Duskenor, the City of Flames. He looked down from upon those towering walls and without a look back he jumped into the abyss below. A mighty blast of thunder shook him as he leapt. The children of Renmann had come as promised."

Voyages Beyond the Sea

Born in the Dawn Age, Renmann was one of the few Primordials to survive the Chaos Wars. Renmann survived by siding with the Divines against Khazmijir, and was granted domain over lightning as the Elemental Lord after the conflict as recompense. Renmann has thrived since the fall of both the Divines and the Primordials as the Elemental Lord of Lightning, ruling over his section of the realm of Elementium. He, along with all the other Elemental Lords have competed with each other to fulfill Vraekar's challenge and enter the center of the Elemental Vortex.   During the Emerald Age Renmann fell in love with a human woman named Caellie Moreken. A warrior and a poet, she dazzled Renmann with her beautiful visage and brilliant mind. The two fell in love, and she bore him the Lightbringers. After her death Renmann was inconsolable, but refused to raise her to divinity, wishing her eternal rest in the afterlife.
