Old Tongue

The oldest language still spoken in Earedar, the Old Tongue is considered to be the first spoken language. Today the Old Tongue is only used daily by the Giants, but it also sees common use amongst the Sidani during their arcane rituals. A language infused with power, ancient scrolls and tomes can sometimes be found written in this text. It is a language few study, as it is extremely difficult to master. Written in the Dawn Age using a series of glyphs, the meaning of which has been lost to time, it was slowly transitioned over the course of The Golden Age to the Elder Script, and writings from that time are often dictated in a mixture of both.
