Nerys was born in the early days of the Age of Antiquity to Tisrendel and Aeoleth Morningstar. Nerys was raised in Evernest with his sister Nephys, and as such was greatly shaped by that realm. Nerys is staunch and steadfast, the god of wisdom, thoughtfulness, ki and monks. Those seeking enlightenment pray to him for guidance, that they might be granted a piece of his knowledge.
Nerys is a steadfast deity and does not often interfere directly in the affairs of the Elder Races. He instead prefers to give guidance and advice from afar, preferring to enable his followers to take action to solve their issues. Nerys believes that only through self-betterment and the pursuit of perfection can one achieve true enlightenment.

Hawklight Monastery- While there are many monasteries across Earedar that follow the teachings of Nerys, Hawklight is perhaps the most famous. Located in the Bloodridge Mountains in the Free Marches, Hawklight Monastery is directed by Beldak Hawklight. Hawklight Monastery teaches it's students to study channel their inner power to better themselves, to value all life as well as to become students of both themselves and nature. Hawklight Monastery has a large presence in both the Free Marches and the Westhold.
