A Review of the Great Powers of the Known Realms

Kezerok was born in Ghelebad during The Golden Age. Entering the world in the chains of slavery under the cruel rule of Eltax, we know very little from Kezerok's early life that is not shrouded in myth and legend. The Zunadar did not keep written records until the Age of Antiquity, and as such all of the information that has come down to us was recorded thousands of years after the fact. Kezerok is the only known Lesser God to predate Grugnir. What we can establish as fact is thus; Kezerok was born a slave in Ghelebad, and slaved away for most of his young life. Allowing the Zunadar their rituals, he first achieved fame during his coming of age ceremony, when he decided upon hunting Feldakir, a monstrous dinosaur within that realm. He hunted and killed him, crafting a mighty breastplate from the bones of the beast. This was the first indication of the mighty destiny that was to come.

Kezerok's great claim to fame comes in his middle age. Frustrated with his people's place as the slaves of Eltax, he united the disparate tribes of the Lizardfolk into one nation, under himself as the High Empah. He led his people to war against Eltax, famously killing his governor of the realm, the Lesser God Caeltrix on the top of Suncrest Mountains. It is said that the debris from the fray blocked out the sun for several days, granting him the moniker the Sun-Eater and the God-Slayer. His people rallied around him, and before Eltax could respond he led them out of Ghelebad and to the realm of Earedar, crossing the wide Nether Abyss.

Kezerok spent several decades getting his people established in Brightwater Jungle before his death, and was raised to divinity shortly thereafter. He has guided his people since his passing, and journeyed across the Known Realms, and has had many epic adventures. He is said to defend his people against all comers, and has more than once fought other gods in his people's name.

Faiths, Cults and Organizations

The Sunlords- The Sunlords are a group of tribal chiefs, priests and clerics dedicated to the veneration of Kezerok. They worship him as the god of their people, the creator of their society and their liberator from the yoke of Eltax's oppression in Ghelebad. They closely adhere to his rights, and are often found in the highest levels of the society of the Zunadar. There has never been a High Empah that was not also a member of the Sunlords.
The Matriarchy- The Matriarchy is a loose coalition of the Crones from each tribe within the Zunadar nation. The Matriarchy is responsible for organizing clean leadership and breeding agreements, as well as adjudicating intertribal conflicts and establishing the laws of the realm. As the society of the Zunadar is highly matriarchal, the Matriarchy wields a massive amount of power within their realm.
