The Black Bible

Kalzad was once one of the Demonlords of Rancor, ruler of the Sixth Layer of Hell and the Lord of Suffering. Often taking the appearance of a large demon, virtually nothing is known about him before his fall into the pit, nor his time thereafter. He ascended during The Godswar, serving Belegor  as King of Hell. During the Emerald Age Kalzad joined Eltax's failed coup against Belegor. When they were betrayed by Aeltruad, Kalzad was slain in the ensuing battle.
