Born in Korusk in the Free Marches in 6656 CY, Diskur was a human in his mortal life. Diskur's early childhood is well-documented by his surviving friends Alanon and Vairor. He grew up on the streets of Korsuk, and quickly fell to crime in order to survive the various criminal guilds that run the city. He gained a reputation as skilled assassin, and was quite on his way to life devoted to only himself until he was hired to assassinate Faena Longstrider. Ambushing Faena and her companions at their camp on the edge of The Free Way, he was quickly overpowered and captured by the trio. He would eventually join them, and would accompany them on their journey to stop the freeing of one of the Elder Gods, Eltax.

Alas, all was not fated to end well. In the last stages of their crusade, Diskur was possessed by the spirit of Eltax, and forced to fight against his companions. The fight would come to a draw, and over the rest of their journey they would repeatedly face him again and again, as Diskur was forced to watch on in horror from within himself as Eltax made him fight his friends. It was only at the climatic battle, after Vairor, Alanon and Faena were forced to slay their friend that Diskur made a pact with Charon, the Aspect of Death. Impressed at his feats in life, Charon allowed Diskur to return and assist his friends from beyond the grave in the final battle, as long as Diskur promised his eternal soul to Charon's service. Diskur made the pact, and returned to assist his friends in the defeat of the Cult of the Lost God, preventing Etlax's return. Immediately afterwards Diskur passed into The Ether, and has since served as the Right Hand of Death, and is commonly referred to as the Grim Reaper, the avatar of Charon's will on Earedar.

The Apostles of the End- The Apostles of the End are a mysterious organization about which little is known. Most commonly known for the roving figures known as "The Apostles", or "Reapers", wearing shadowy clothing and plague doctor masks, they are known to appear during times of great death and strife, sending on the souls of the dead to The Ether. This is often met with joy amongst the populace, as this avoids them becoming a Shadowfiend. While they do have small churches where they offer other services, we know very little about their inner operation, beyond the veneration of Charon. Diskur is first amongst their number.
