Athika

Athika is a region of similar cultures following a flavor of the Olympian pantheon with Byzantine-level technology. While the great city-states are experimenting with different forms and styles of monarchy, none have fully moved to a democratic type of government. The region is surrounded by islands that provide relative sheltering seas that are friendly to galley-style ships. The mainland itself has a variety of terrains, but tends toward temperate mountains and forests.
