A brief recount of the important historical events of the Eastlands.
The Rise of the Matriarchy marked a major turning point in the history of the Eastlands from it being a mostly warring and barren place with leaderships and kingdoms crumbling about once every century to a unified and strong nation with a purpose and strong leadership.
The building of Gwemgrann and the Gnomish Empire marked the end of gnomes living in isolated tribes and the beginning of them unifying into one strong central location which allowed them to end their long localized disputes with the kobold population in the Arin Desert.
A Central faction of dwarves declared an expansionist war against the dwarves of Brakmondr eventually extending into a Central occupation of gnomish territory and naval action against the port city of Duivrant. The war ultimately was a loss for Central forces as the unification of Gnomish, Dwarven, and Matriarchy forces repelled them.
After Central attempted a small scale expansionist war into the territories of the Eastland the Gnomish Empire, the Dwarvish Empire, and The Matriarchy saw a need to unify their forces under a single banner.
After a quick and bloody civil war the new Raja established The Council of Nine to ensure that the population had adequate representation and power to keep The Matriarchy in check.
