Olaf grew up in a small dwarven community nestled within a mountain range, where he first felt the guiding light of Selûne during a lunar eclipse that saved his village from an unnatural storm. This moment marked his calling to serve the Moon Goddess, and he dedicated his life to spreading her teachings of light, healing, and guidance.

As a wandering cleric, Olaf’s path crossed with Jember during his travels. He quickly became a mentor and father figure to the young halfling, helping to shape Jember’s moral outlook and encouraging him to embrace his talents as a ranger. Olaf is also responsible for guiding Fjord the Forgetful to Selûne’s light, offering the dwarf a sense of purpose and faith despite his memory loss.
