Mountain Dwarf
This was my first visit to any of the underground dwarven citadels. We journeyed in a large cart pulled by Ungìgawk through carved tunnels with the occasional opening into a larger cavern area. before reaching the great citadel of Gerfarum. I could see as we entered this enormous cavern deep inside the Dragon Spine the outer walls of Gerfarum. One of the dwarves driving the coach nudges me in the ribs and says, "Pretty magnificent, huh." He was not wrong the walls were adorned by giant reliefs of various important dwarves. I notice we are now traveling across a massive stone bridge that appears to be carved right out of the hard bedrock of the Dragon Spine. The craftmenship was exuisite. There was just so much to see everywhere my eyes did not know where to look. Before I noticed, we were at the massive gates of the citadel. The doors were carved from solid rock lined with runes and artwork. They seemed to reach the heavens from our vantage point. They were easily over forty feet tall.
