The most unique of all the Machine Men are the ones that were once human and able to make their new body.

Biological Traits

Out of all the variants of Machine Men these have the most variable looks. All gearforged were once other creatures with flesh-and-blood bodies, but their conscious minds were transplanted into articulated bodies. Each is as distinctive in appearance as other people are. Some entities spend a fortune on these new bodies, while others scrape together anything that will work-especially if the subject is aging or ill.

There are very few workshops in the world that have the capacity to build them.

Average Intelligence

Unlike other Machine Men, they do not have artificial intelligence. Their original mortal essence has been transferred to a vessel. The vessel is then placed into the Type B Cyberbrain.
All Gearforge are sapient creatures.

Civilization and Culture

History

In 18158 the first of the gearforge was created in the bowels of Lockgear. Since that time very few of these marvels have ever been created.
