Rahel Sutter
Rahel Sutter is the current Face of the Starfall, shaking hands and sharing laughs with the people who could help our heroes make a name for themselves throughout Ducorde. A veteran of the stage even at her young age, Rahel has been the lead actress or the scene-stealer for as long as anyone around her can remember. Rahel and Linnet have been fast friends from the moment they met, and the friendship has endured even through separations and stage drama.
Rahel Sutter is a twenty-year-old human woman of moderate height and a dancer's build. She wears her long brown hair tied in a ponytail when she's not in character, and for the last three years she has kept a thin streak dyed bright green. Rahel is constantly in motion, speaking with her whole body, her expressive face communicating her emotions to everyone, even those in the cheap seats. Linnet has long said that Rahel doesn't know how to stop moving, and she has the science to back it up after sharing a room with her in Mechon for a traveling stage show and dealing with Rahel's constant tossing and turning even while asleep. Rahel changes her fashion more than anyone else in the company, and lately has been very into cropped pants and layered necklaces.
Before joining the Starfall, Rahel served as the lead actress for the Theater of the Untranslatable, her face splashed across every program and poster the company created.
TRIVIA
- Is romantically involved, or at least affectionately entangled, with Apocynthion Lunakrei Tolvani the Third.
- The go-to threat for old stories about Linnet, though to date she's never shared anything bad about her best friend.
- While Rahel is Linnet's oldest friend, she was the last major addition to the Theater, joining up when her time in Caerwyn ended.
- One (Bast, 39): Rahel has absolutely no singing talent whatsoever, but has still managed to play prominent roles in three musicals. One saw her rendered mute by a curse, one saw her as an ethereal dancer, and one saw her as the villain who stole the protagonist's voice. Linnet handled her singing in the third.
- Two (Bast, 40): The Sutter family is an extended branch of the Fhirald family, the scion of which gained notoriety as the inventor of the crystal-induction engine for trains. This sparked a short and vicious trade war in Saron, but ended with the Fhiralds receiving an invitation to Caerwyn.
- Three (Bast, 40.1): Rahel has been learning dance for years, but since joining the Starfall, she has been inquiring after Dancer trainers at every port the airship reaches. Thus far, she has been unable to find one.
