Beri
One of many members of the Sect of the Serpent, Beri is one of the members in Hadrian's Sect that isn't part of the Society of Infinity. Though she primarily works alone, she receives support outside her job from her partner Nasturtium and her daughter, Sabiya.
Beri works for the Sect, and specifically Hadrian, as an assassin, bounty hunter, and occasional tracker. Though this creates overlap with the Society of Infinity, Beri mostly takes care of jobs that can't be entrusted to the Society. These might be jobs too sensitive, requiring a specific touch, or jobs that might reveal to the Society the truth behind their missions, revealing the Sect's existence to them.
Though she is seen as rather cold to interact with, Beri's personality is well-suited to her work. She is focused and thorough, and highly methodical. She doesn't like outsourcing her work, preferring to do it herself to make sure the job is done to her standards. The only exceptions are poisons and medication, which are provided by her partner, and tracking, which she supplements with her pet. But, then again, receiving help from an animal is not quite the same as letting someone else do your job, is it?

Beri is good at her job, and her skills suit this. She's a skilled tracker, an excellent marksman with long-distance weaponry, and even better at hand-to-hand combat. She can move almost silently in a pinch, and clamber up and over obstacles to get to hard-to-reach spots. Her only weakness in this is her ability to blend in--she's a poor actor and doesn't fit well into general society.
