Marsh Boars
Marsh boars1 are common throughout Ela'k Forest, wandering in small herds around riverbanks and marshes in search for roots, nuts, berries, mushrooms and small creatures to eat. Their hooves are relatively long and curved to prevent them from sinking too much into the mud.
They are ancestors of the domesticated Útel pig, which closely resembles them except for a shorter fur. Útel hunters often hunt marsh boars, but are also most likely to be injured by one.
