Tenabrius’ Cult of Undeath
Whereas his blue sister’s fascinations span the width and breadth of attainable learning, Tenabrius’ interests are much more focused. The Black Dragon Curse of Decay is fixated on life, death, and most of all undeath. He keeps a collection of powerful necromancers which serve as his clergy and personal advisors. They then join him in tormenting and twisting the souls of the recently departed into undead wights and even fully sentient risen. The necromancers, those who are not risen themselves at least, come from across the Imperium. Tenabrius does not place much weight on where one is initially born.
While many of the black dragon’s saurian followers do not share their lord’s obsession with death, they do tend to share his disregard for sentient life. Humans, elves, dwarves, and even drahkai are all just made of meat to a saurian, so they have no moral qualms with collecting captives and bodies for their god. Tenabrius then rewards them with gifts like undead crocodile mounts for their dutiful service. The relationship is perhaps more transactional than devotional, but as with many of the Dragon Curses fear and obedience are just as good as love and adherence.
