Inquisition Imperium

Upon hearing stories of the resurgent Sacred Silence cavorting with necromancers and receiving confirmation that a blade of the Forsaken was in the hands of his Nephilim son, Artur Stillwater, Stellaran Knight of the Blue Moon, realized drastic action was needed before this nusience became a catastrophe. Using his connections in Bluespire alongside his status as a champion of the Moon Maiden Artur incorporated a new military band: the Inquisition Imperium.   Gaining special dispensation from Cardinal Greengrove, Dutchess Pointe, and none other than Argostan the Resolute himself, the Blue Moon began gathering volunteers to root out and arrest or eliminate anyone with ties to the Silence or the Nephilim who calls himself Aesazel. What is more, the Elder Dragon put the word out to his fellow Blessings and even the Curses, many of whom have agreed to allow volunteers to travel unmolested through their lands in the name of eliminating their old, collective enemy. Not in over an age has this level of cooperation been seen amoung the Dragon Lords.

Structure

Though Sir Artur is the group's official founder, he is not its "leader" per say. Any Stellaran Knight who decides to join up with the Inquisition is to be viewed as a commander to all of the volunteers, who have taken to referring to the knights as "general" for clarity's sake. Other than taking direct orders from the Stellarans and reporting back on their findings, Inquisitors are free to move and operate as they please, questioning civilians and capturing or killing the Sacred Silence and their collaborators as they go.

Culture

As a brand new, ad hoc group there is not a great deal of shared history or culture amoung the members. People join up with their own arms and armor and basically form companies and raiding parties at will. Obstenibly meant to uphold the tenants of their parent organization, many Inquisitors seem to show little to no reverance for Stellara and instead seem more interested in adventure, food, and other spoils of war. If they ever engaged in a true pitched battle against an organized foe, the unorganized masses would likely struggle to perform.

Public Agenda

The stated goals of the Inquisition are to root out members of the Sacred Silence and their sympathizers and to eliminate the threat posed by the Nephilim Aesazel by any means necessary. Though the Giant Wars were well over an age ago, this agenda is generally popular with citizens of all social strata. No one wants to be plunged into an Imperium-wide war if at all possible.
